hi, i’m nate.
what i do
I research, conceptualize, and execute storytelling and strategy within teams around compelling brands, products, individuals, and ideas. I like projects. And learning.
research
Ask questions. What is it? What makes it rad? Who’s going to see it? How much will it cost? How long will it take? Who do we need to involve, and what roles will they fill? Who do we pitch this to? Are there snacks?
plan
Build the deck. Write the script. Plan the shoot. Ideate it, whatever “it” is. Know the audience. Find the right people to do it.
deliver
Make it good. Make it relatable. Make sure it’s seen by the right people at the right time in the right places. Make it desirable and digestible. Measure results. Iterate. Focus. Track. Repeat, ad infinitum.
who?
I’m Nate. I’m intimately familiar with storytelling, word-nerding, grand strategy, and building narratives that run through every aspect of a project. As a former minor-league professional cyclist, I’ve raced my bike around the world in challenging (“adventurous”) circumstances with a diverse cast of characters. These experiences have lent an innate ability to rapidly adapt under pressure while leaving ego at the door. I’ve been known to wear many hats and dive into the creative weeds without losing focus. Solving problems like a mad scientist is my secret weapon.
After spending the majority of my adulthood working with noteworthy outdoor industry brands, I’m looking to branch out, driven by my hunger to learn. Curious? Drop me a line.
